I have been taking pictures since I was 9.  My first "real" camera was a Minolta X700.  I worked over a year at odd jobs including painting my parents house to afford that camera kit.  It truly took me to a different level in my early photography and my first hobby as a teen.  Since, I have always focused on portraits and landscapes.  What I truly enjoy is being outside and capturing moments in natural surroundings.

I truly love capturing pictures.  There is a challenge to every shoot.  The modern camera utilizes so much technology it is hard to really understand how we have progressed so quickly in the digital world.  With that said, technology will not replace creativity.  It may give us more control and it will also expand possibilities.   What some people do not realize is the part of taking a picture that cannot really be taught in a class or book.  Having an "eye" for the right shot or angle is part of the art and experience behind the lens.  You can see my work here in the gallery and hopefully my passion to get a good shot will make someone smile.

I work a full time job M-F but would love to spend some evenings and weekends shooting clients and making memories.  Please let me know if you have questions or would like to schedule a session.
